Andrew is currently Co-Principal Horn with the Orchestra of Opera North. Performing regularly with the Philharmonia and the London Philharmonic Orchestras Andrew has also performed with the London Symphony Orchestra and appeared as a trialist on Principal Horn with the Royal Philharmonic and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic orchestras.
Andrew began learning the horn whilst he was a chorister at Salisbury Cathedral. He was a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain for three years and in his final year with the Orchestra he was invited to play Principal Horn. Andrew graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2008 where he studied with Jeff Bryant, Richard Bissill, Hugh Seenan and David Pyatt. Also at this time, Andrew was a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra.
Having always enjoyed playing chamber music Andrew performed a world Premier by Roxanna Panufnik in 2008 which he repeated in the Temple Song Recital Series in 2009 with Patricia Rozario and Julius Drake.
